There are those that are partners in a law firm, or operate alone in their practice. They become attorneys by attending law school and passing their exams which allow them to practice. For them to attend law school, they will need to have a high school diploma or its equivalent as long as a recognized qualification. In college, they can set their bachelor's degree to any major. They are however better off going for a business major, or something law-related, or in political science.
